Bob Parks writes about the people behind innovative science and technology. He's author of the book Makers: All Kinds of People Making Things in Garages, Basements, and Backyards (O'Reilly Media, 2006), and contributes to the magazines Wired, Make, Popular Science, and Runner's World. Between 1995 and 2001, Parks worked as an editor of Wired magazine, directing sections on emerging technology. He lives in Vermont with his wife and two children.
